Goldfuerst has been fully approved as a breeding stallion. He has shown himself to be a horse of exceptional quality in performance and has been very successful in top German competition. He placed sixth in his performance test in Adelheitsdorf.

Goldfuerst's sire Goldstern is a son of the famous Gotthard and out of the same line that produced the successful Olympic Show Jumper, Deister. Goldfuerst has also demonstrated the ability to consistently deliver brilliant performance. On his Dam's side, More Magic, an Irish Thoroughbred, has produced many good horses. The most prominent is the gray gelding Mon Cherie, who, under Elizabeth Theurer of Austria, an European Champion and Olympic Gold Medal Winner in 1980. Also on the Dam's side is Donkosak: a top show jumper sired by Don Carlos. Don Carlos also produced Deister.

As a three year old, Goldfuerst won the German Riding Horse Championship. He was also the Champion in Rastede, West Germany. These achievements give him a unique position and claim to distinction. Goldfuerst was trained and shown in Germany by extremely competent and experienced personnel. Although Goldfuerst's bloodlines deemed him a jumper, he has competed successfully in this country through Grand Prix Dressage. Goldfuerst is an exceptionally kind stallion with a wonderful temperament.
